Manifattura Lane Pucci was founded in 1963 on the hills overlooking Prato, in the heart of the Emilian Tosco Apennines.
During the first years of our history, the production was based on wool and alpaca yarns, for knitting and accessories, destinated to the hand knitting market. We used to sell our products in Tuscany and part of Latium.
Between ‘60s and ‘70s we proceeded with large investments to improve our production : we have installed a new spinning and a new dyeing plant that represent a distinguishing feature of our production cycle.
As time went on, we have improved the quality of our yarn production, paying attention to the stylistic creativity and speed of realization.
During the early ‘80s we have introduced in our production department, also a new plant for the preparation of spinning and combed spinning, afterwords completed with new machinery for fancy twisting.
Convinced from the importance of a constant innovation, still today we continue by enriching our production department with instruments of new generation to guarantee always our customers high quality standards.
The flagship of our company is the dyeing department that from the mid ‘90s, has been encouraged from the introduction of a new machinery for space-dying on hanks.
Fashion and textile industries, are in constant evolution and Manifattura Lane Pucci keeps always up to remain competitive. Customers’ requests and needs have changed over time and with them also our way of thinking and working.
With investments aimed to our spinning, twisting and dyeing departments, we are able to reply with quality and fastness to our customers’ needs and at the same time, we make available our competences by producing yarns of first quality in compliance with the new rules.
Thanks to a qualified commercial network we sell our yarns in Italy, Europe, Russia, Japan and Honk Kong.
